Moonware Creative Expressions opens the artist's residence studio in Kerala to passionate artists to exhibit their work after the success of her first solo exhibition - Perception 2019-2020.
The artist Ms. Priya Jayanand hopes the space will encourage artists of all age and experience to come forward and exhibit their work at an affordable cost. It is also a space for artist to meet, discuss and share their art, experience and knowledge.

Perception is my first solo art exhibition. The exhibits will include every work done from the year 2016 till date. Painting, sculpting, sketches, wood works and more.

Perception-2019 besides exhibiting art is also an attempt to dismantle the myth that very few are gifted with the ability to draw. The effort is to showcases that with the right guidance, technique, skill development and observation anyone with the perseverance to learn can excel in anything they want. I myself started to produce work in the year 2016

Most of the painting exhibits displayed here are done with soft pastels and sculptures are made with air dry clay. Most furniture's and fixtures you see around the studio are handmade by me, with mostly repurpose materials and salvaged wood. I am always learning and exploring new materials, styles and mediums. Stylized realism is what I try to achieve in my paintings. Whimsical characters are the main subject of the sculptures.

Like many even I believe that art is an expression. I create art that evokes emotions that are mostly positive. There are very few works that will make the viewers uncomfortable. I hope the exhibits here today makes people happy, calm and hopeful. In the mid's of all the chaos of the daily life I hope art gives some relief.
